Nam Sang Wai is located in Yuen Long, Hong Kong, surrounded by Kam Tin River and Shan Pui River. There is a small island at the intersection between the two rivers. At low tide, there will be many migratory birds near the mudflats of the island, especially in winter. Hong Kong is warmer in winter, which is suitable for migratory birds to spend the winter. There are Great White Egret, Little Egret and black-faced spoonbill. In addition to birds, there are also different types of plants and creatures in Nam Sang Wai, Such as red River-Red Gum, reed, Northern Pochard ,Baer's Pochard, Fiddler Crab and so on.
